Secure US, an SDM 100 company, was one of the early adopters of SedonaOffice. However, in mid-2009, when facing new financial reporting requirements and the need to streamline accounting processes, Secure US sought assistance from ASTUTE.
ASTUTE's first task was to reconfigure SedonaOffice to more effectively account for the company's operations as the largest independent security company in West Virginia, with branches in Morgantown and Charleston and an account base of over 5,000 customers in five states. ASTUTE then developed a custom procedures manual and trained the company's staff on the revised use of SedonaOffice.
With help from ASTUTE, Secure US has significantly reduced the number of days it takes to do month-end accounting and to produce the financial statements and management reporting package required by stockholders and other interested parties.
